Car wont stay on

I had my music on yesterday and my battery got drained. I borrowed a battery from a friend and put it in and swapped over my original battery to charge. Everything was fine til the evening I had to twist the key twice for my car to start. Problem has happened in the pass but eventually went away.
Today car started fine and moved it into the drive way, cleaned my car and when I went to crank it nothing. I let it sit a while and then it turned on but immediately turned off. I tired a couple of times and same thing. I disconnected the battery and connected it and after a while the car dash lights and radio turned on like I was about to start without the key in the ignition. So i tried starting it and same thing, it starts then shuts off. Sounds like my fuel pump it running but as soon as i start it it starts but cuts off after a few seconds. Fuel pumps sounds like it cuts off to after started. Any help would be great.

Could it be my Key needs to be reprogrammed or my ignition or some electrical problem?


Update: I Pulled the IOD fuse today and the car started. I put it back it and the car had the same issue. Put the key in the ACC position and pulled the fuse and put it back in and BAM the car came on... I dont understand why how or what but it worked....
