Okay from my understanding these Prowler engines are the same as our 3.5L HO...
I think I might have to talk to these guys and just see how true of a statement that is.. I did some research and some of these prowlers are pulling over 400 horses.

Now i might be glad I didnt buy the V-8..... Let me know if you guys find anything out????? Paxton also used to make a Supercharger for the 3.5 that was bolt 100 horses.. for like 5500 bucks --seams like alot but if i could buy that and have an instant Hemi killer it would be worth it blowing the doors off a hemi.. They would never get over getting beat by an SXT..

Start doing some research guys.. I really would like to get some performance parts going.. In reality we should be asking these prowler guys to start marketing this stuff to our LX-- SXT group.. There woudl be alot of money in it for them and it would only make the parts cheaper for us.

yeah I need to do someting before i sell this and get the hemi.. No actually i would almost rather buy stuff to get this one up to speed.. Cheaper insurance and I would loose less money.. Anyway I just want Paxton to make a supercharger for it or someone make a supercharger for it.

I figure with these mods I would be as fast as the Stock Hemi...

you guys got any ideas of what else to do? I guess my biggest beef with the SXT is that no one makes any parts for them.. I think its a great motor. Its actually surprisingly fast for a V6 Just wish I had more to do performance wise.

$5500 is a lot of cash. But talk about a sleeper car. Faster than an RT but badging, lights, and exhaust of an SXT. Sounds like a lot of fun!!!

I hear ya. Not a day goes by that I look for something to give our SXT a little more "push'
under the hood. In hinesite, I guess a extra $50-$60 a month for a hemi really doesn't look to bad. But will make do and make over what I have.

beguiled, put a nitrous oxide kit on her, that would kick her in the ass. 100 hp shot might keep up with a hemi. Like a 100 hp shot might let my RT almost keep up with a SRT8. Of course you could have..............................LOL

I bet the belanger headers would fit.. not the y pipe thought, im sure you could get that fabbed up. The problem with modifying your 3.5 is that the parts are so rare, and hard to come by, you will have to pay a premium for them. More power to you though, if you get your 3.5L faster than an RT, i think that would be awesome. I know i wouldnt want to be beaten by a 3.5L, that will be a sad day.

Yeah I figure the Hemi would have cost me more than 5500 bucks.. I really hope alot of these prowler companies will start marketing or sxt models.. Its makes sense. They would probably have 10 times the market.. Anyway we will see what comes out.. I think I am getting A CAI for the holidays.. do any brands make more Horses than the others. I was thinking the 360 intakes..

If my dealership would have had a used RT on the lot I would probably have bought it as long as they were not asking too much. Instead they had a used SXT so that's what I got. Not too much choice at my location. I had been looking for many months. I'm very happy with my SXT. BTW, leaving your phone number with the sales people asking them to call you when they got a used Magnum does no good. They never call. 2 dealerships. Same results.

As far as engine power upgrades are concerned they would have to be wife approved which is very difficult in a house with 3 little boys. It's not impossible but very unlikely. I'm up for other mods though. LED interior lights, rear scratch pad, headlight eyelids, front windows tinted, airbag warning sticker covers, glovebox light, and Hemi engine bay shock tower nut covers, are all things I've either done or will be doing soon. Plus I've spent a few bucks to correct some things (used car). The wife is keeping track.
