    3.5L Track times.

I took my Magnum to the Southwest International Raceway in Tucson on Saturday. I had never raced before but I thought I would give it a try. It was great.

My 3.5L SXT ran 16.597 at 84.53mph on the first run and 16.647 at 84.98mph on the second run. Completely stock.

Anyone else run their 3.5L? Did you have similar results?

As soon as I get my Airaid CAI installed I will be back at the track. Probably sometime after Christmas.

Sure. I plan on going again in Phoenix which is at a lower altitude than Tucson. Plus at night it will be colder. Might make a difference.

I did some forum searches and read that the SXT should be in the high 15's. So I have some work to do. I'm not sure what my rpm was up to when break standing. I was too busy watching the lights. This is all so new to me. It's one thing to watch it's quite another to do it.

At the track I had been putting it in 3rd. Lilguyhemi told me he puts his in "L." So I tried "L" late last night and OMG what a difference. I'm going to try that next time.
