    2.7L Jet Chip Stage 2, Stage 1 ?'s

I'm looking to add a Jet Chip Stage 2, to my 2.7L v6. Is this really worth the money? I have free flowing exhaust, intake, but I don't have the thermostat that they say, is this necessary? What kind of gains will I see from doing this mod? Any info. would be great, I have the opportunity to pick one up for a good price.

On another note what about the Stage 1 Jet Chip as well? Any info. would be good to know about this one as well. Thanks in advance.
The mod List is getting to the point that its just to long to post. So if you wanna know whats in it, just ask?

I wouldn't do the stage one but for a stage 2 you will need the following .

    CAI
    Exhuast.

I have notice a different with the Jet chip 2 big time, but I am on sure of the B&G flash will since I don't have 600 laying around to do anything with that.
So damn custom, I don't even need a sig!

I understand that my 3.5 is different from your 2.7, but I'll chime in anyway. I recently added the Stage-2 to my car and am overall pleased. I had added an AFE intake and removed my silencer. I also cheated and put a Doug Thorley RT dual set-up with x-pipe under my car. Common knowledge of engine physics will tell you that more fuel is required for the addition of more air. That's where Jet comes in. The stage-1 helps, but not enough IMO. I'll explain it like this... these are heavy cars. We don't have stump-pulling torque in the 6's, so there is no need to "mat it" 'cuz it ain't going nowhere! Roll the gas in to about half-throttle and watch the power step up at different rpm's. If you're familiar with a 2-stroke coming up on the pipe, you'll understand. It's not nearly as irratic, but you will feel the timing advance as well as the power increasing. It's never gonna be as fast as a RT or SRT, but it will still surprise you. Might even make the civic/integra/eclipse next to you jealous

I would love to see dyno numbers of a stock 3.5 / 2.7 with all the different mods out there for the cars.

Dyno numbers are good for bragging rights. They usually reassure us that we really do feel that extra little kick. I'm comfortable with the fact that my 3.5 will never make 300 horse-pressures I'm also comfortable with the fact that it's saving me money. I guess I could go get on the bike if I really need an adrenaline kick though...
