I'm planning on getting a cutout and I just have a few questions if anyone can answer them
first of all I just wanna get one, so would it be a good idea to put it after the header before the cat or in between the cat and the suitcase.
what is the size of the diameter of the exhaust pipe between the cat and the suitcase?
what is the size of the cutout I should get... 2.25", 2.50", 3.00"?

Our V6 exhaust systems for all intents and purposes are 2.25". "EXHAUST PIPE" size.
When I ordered my 2.25"X12" overall length cherry bombs, they were manufactured to fit OUTSIDE the 2.25" pipe (perfectly, I might add).
But before you order you cutouts, have you taken off the exhaust to hear what it sounds like?
Sorry, but to me it's not that loud at all. Mostly interior drone and high pitch ricey rasp.
Or is that what you're looking for?

And seek refuge from the heretics who know not the joy of creating something unique."
thanks for your input! defiantly will do that. and no. just no. (totherice)
Now here's the kicker. You mentioned "suitcase". Did you swap out with an R/T take off?
If so, then now the exhaust pipe is 2.50".
