Yet another issue dealer/shop can't reproduce...

Hey all- 06 300C AWD when I am going around a left curve at slow speeds I can hear a noise coming from the right front end. It is like a rubbing noise, can't feel it only hear it when the windows are down. The noise speeds up the faster I go, sounds like shu shu shu shu, everytime the tire rotates. Two shops have looked at it and said rotors are fine, and visualy "front end checks out". Alignment was in "spec" and wheels were balanced. When I straighten it out the noise is gone, as soon as I turn left it comes back. Stock wheels and they said tire wear is fine, I also have a bad shake in my steering wheel at highway speeds. Dealer said they couldn't reproduce, then I took it to a tire place and they couldn't either.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks- John

had an lx in the shop that had issues similar, wheel bearing had a bit of play in it and caused some noise,

    where do you live?

I though wheel bearing as well....next oil change I will make it a point to have them look at it....incase they can't reproduce it again. I only have 26k miles. I am in Central NJ, Trenton.

Does it make the noise every time like you described?

If it does ask the dealer tech to ride along while you drive and when you hear the noise point it out, they just might not hear it correctly. On several occasions I have had to ride along with them and point out what I was talking about.
