    wtf-fixed the brake noise

Long story short-i have used every combo of rotors and pads on this car and have had brake noise with every set up. ALL new pads and rotors and even surfacing the new rotors before install
LAST night i cut a set of centric rotors i had in the pile and used a cheap set of full ceramic Raybestos pads i got from rock auto for $50 for the full set of 4-son of a barstool-i put 127 miles on it and no brake noise and they beded prefect.
lets see how it is in 500 miles.
with all other combos of pads and rotors i had noise by this ammount of miles.
go figure-all those $100-$125 set of pads make noise and a $25 set = no noise

ceramic's dont stop as well as semi metalic pads do-but you cut the brake dust by 80%.
i have had cermaics on here before with ackebono rotors plus their pads and it made noise plus didnt stop for ****.

i wouldnt say the are cheap. they look nice and rivited on and thick stakes on them. Raybestos has been around along time. 1 year 15.000 mile warranty on them so how can you go wrong for $25 a set.

My Hawk pads shed brake dust and the rears make some noise, but man they stop like nobody's business.

Did you put any pad lube on the back of the pads with any of the combinations you tried?

yes-but not this set no-i've tryed the blue crc in the foil tube-the orange and the red spray and none have worked along with cutting rotors.
these pads have the sticky tape on them just like the factory pads and so far today its still all good.

you know what dude...i was going to post that in your other thread but did not bother, just to avoid the typical controversy over pads in the thread. I have placed the same cheap pads on my car twice... $20 bucks for the front pads (service grade) from wundercarparts.com and have had zero noise and I think they stop great with very low dust. sorry did not give you the heads up earlier ... but glad you discovered them
