WTF CLADS got stained??

THis is like a Calgon commercial gone bad!

Well today I went to do a good detail on my car being that it is finally cooling off in florida. When I finished with the car I went to the wheels. I know chrome clad are pretty much throw aways to people on this forum. Mine were CLEAN no curb rash at 40k. Well I went to a mechanical car wash this week just to get some mid week bugs off the car. I guess something got on my wheels there. ITs almost like hard water stains on steriods. I tried Amonia (window cleaner) NO, 3m adhesive remover NO, My dad told me of the mystical powers of Newspaper and it works but takes a long time. I really don't want to be rubbing newspaper (dry) on my wheels.

ANY SUGGESTIONs.

I could bitch (chevron) at the car wash but it florida nobody give a f, unless you hire a lawyer.

Find it at AZ or Walmart next to the metal polishes.

Did you get the Nevr Dull? It really is a wonder on the clads. Did you do all four and then come back to remove the dry polish? Sometimes it takes a bit for the polish to dry and you fight smearing and drying and removing and smearing and drying and removing, yadayada. Do all four and the polish has time to dry when you come back to the first wheel. Get a nice coat of wax when your done then they are a breeze next time.
