    Wheels with spacers

I'm thinking of putting 20" srt wheels on my 300C. They will be the standard 20" magnum srt wheels with factory tires. I know I need spacers, so here are my questions:

1.) Where do I find these spacers?

2.) What do they normally cost?

3.) Do the spacers make the wheels look different on a 5.7C as compared to an SRT8 (i.e., stick out further, ride higher, etc.)???

4.) Does anyone have any pics of a 5.7 that has had any of the 20" SRT wheels "transplanted"?

    Thanks, everyone!

Mine were done by the previous owner, so I'm not sure on specifics, other than that they're 3mm spacers (about 1/8" thick), so you won't notice them being out any. The difference in diameter is exactly .5 inches - these are larger than stock 18's with stock tires by a half inch.

Here's my Daytona with MSRT wheels - the height might not apply, though, as mine has the front lowered about 1.5" from stock.

    3mm Spacers

I put the 20 inch SRT Charger rims on my R/T. I got my 3mm spacers from supporting vendor Billy Bones, Bones Enterprises. They cost about $70 w/shipping (Hawaii) for a pair but well worth the money. They are very high quality and a friend of mine bought some generic spacers for his 300C from an auto parts store and he now has wheel wobble at about 70 mph. I've taken my R/T up to about 130 mph with no problems.

Agreed, the spacers from Bones Ent. are nop notch. Yes, you could get a generic set from the wheel store, but its worth the extra $ for security of mind going at extremely illegal speeds

Just called and ordered my spacers... easy as pie. I must say, it's gotten to the point nowadays that it's weird to call a company and actually have the owner get on the phone! Thanks Billy... looking forward to getting my new wheels on!

Stay away from the cheap aluminum ones, I did some wayyyyyy back when and after a few tire on/off with rotations and new tires, the aluminum would actually compress her an there and thats where the wobble of mine came from. Billet ones are $$$ but worth it in the end. ALSO Torque the wheels!!!!!!

    Hi,

I see on Ebay - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...5278054&rd=1,1 - someone selling an AWD R/T with stock RWD wheels? How would this be possible? Spacers? Or are they just screwing up the ride and suspension?

    Thanks for any insights,

    Richard

I recently got some spacers from Bones and I agree that they are top notch and definitely worth the money.

I have a question..these spacers are only for mag that are using srt8 rims? I have a pair of 20" rims (not SRT) and the tire shop put these lil rings around the the center hub.they rings are the size of a coke can.are these spacers??

It sounds like they used a ring to center the wheel on the hub. These are used when the wheel being installed wasnt designed specifically for your car. It's a common practice as it keeps manufacturing costs down.
