    Wheels with painted sublime lip?

I remember seeing on here a few examples of wheels that were black with a painted lip. Looking into getting a sublime and wanted to show that look to my wife, anyone know whos car that is?

Here's a pic of Brian's car from the Niagara Falls Meet last year.

I believe the wheels are American Racing Burn 20"

Thats the only reason the lips on my wheels havent been lime for the last 2 yrs.......if my painted caliper covers got rock chips, I can only imagine what the wheels would look like..........too bad no one can powdercoat sublime, everyone just has neon green........found one place that would custom blend a sublime powder but it was $650 for 50lbs.......made a few threads but no one really wanted to go in on it

    Question

Couldn`t you have them painted...then clear powdercoated for extra protection from rocks ?

Or you could go with something a little more subtle... just a Lime stripe around the edge. You wouldnt believe how many compliments I get on it. I wanted to do the entire lip as well, but $$ kept me from doing it. Im now glad I didnt.. as this gets a lot more attention surprisingly. If I were to do it again though.. I would do a 1/4 inch stripe instead of 1/8.
