    What tire do you like?

Gonna be buying new rims, American Racing Vintage Torq-thrust M and will need some new rubber.
Right now I have Toyo Proxes 255/45/R20. I generally like em, have 36k on em and they still have some tread left. I do have an issue with one of the left side tires (currently on the front), there is an imbalance that changes with tire pressure. I have a very slow leak and when the air pressure gets under 32 the tire shakes at 55 mph. Its pretty much ok if the the pressure is over 32, although I can still feel a little bit. This started happening at about 20k and I felt that maybe the Toyo's are not the best option.
Soooooo, Tirerack recommends 245's, I have 255's, will 255's fit on 20x8.5 wheels? What tires do you like? I was looking at Kumho Ecsta ASX. Thanks for any replies, this forum rocks!

Thanks Scooby! Toyos seem to be the consensus hear --- although I'm gonna go with the Kuhmos, cheaper and good reviews. If I don't like em, I'll have a set for sale soon! Thanks again!

I've heard good about the Kumhos myself. No experience with them but I've heard a good review or two.

It may be as soon as the 2nd weekend in December buddy. You think you can make that? I'm sure Cam and Mark would be in. My trouble is I don't 110% know my car will be done in time and I'm afraid to buy into a track day and eat the fees (I'm 95% sure it'd be OK).

You know thats a good point. I've gone on record here as saying the Toyo Proxes ST's were NOT tires I would ever buy again given their wet weather performance.... and I'll say it here again. Those were the worst tires I have ever driven on in light rain when accelerating.
