    What suspension?

For a SRT8 that sees Drag Race duties every other week and I want the car to sit lower but still hook?

    1- Afco?

    2- KW V2?

    3- Peddlers?

4- Any other way that is cheaper please?

I heard you can run into problems with the DSS axles if you lower the car. Messes with the geometry, I remember, I believe Hemi 31 talking about this, Possible binding?

If Pedders has adjustability (coilovers) my choice would be between KW and Pedders.

AFCO. If Mopar ran them on their dragpack challenger that probably says something.

It was my understanding that the Afcos put too much stress on the rear coilover body mount. Seems like one guys actually bowed the mounts on the coilovers and body! IIRC

    That's straight axle ride.....totally different.

So here's my take on suspension stuff for what it's worth. We have a issue with lowering the rear and or major weight transfer (squat). When the rear is lowered, and the wheels camber in, the way the traction arm is attached (angle) causes the rear tires to toe in which scrubs speed. So the lower you go and the more you squat, the worse it gets with the stock bushes and geometry.

My take is to keep the rear firm, and the front loose, get as much wieght transfer as possible with out the squat.

As far as who's parts. It doesn't really matter all that much. But setting the alignment up correctly in the rear is priority. And the only company that can do this is Pedders right now. The Eibach stuff is OK and will work, but you need to not only change the outer bushes, but the inners as well on the traction arm depending on how low you go.
From wild to extra wild we got you covered with crap ya never knew you needed.

The first 6.1 transformation and it all went down hill from there.

Good stuff Cam. Does anyone know how much the proper setup from Peddlers would run me by any chance? Any other thoughts?

So here's my bet on his issue. His springs are to soft, he's beating the crap out of the car, the shocks (and even the springs could be) are bottoming out and causing the damage.

Whoa guys, I'm not blaming AFCO, or saying their bad equipment. I was just pointing out one instance where there was a problem. I said "It was my understanding" that they put to much stress there. And yes, i can only think of that one instance so it's probably isolated to the dirt bike style of driving his car.
