What Psi Do Yall Run??

I Have 18's On My Mag And I Have 20's On My Ram. Both Tires Say To Run 44 Psi Max. My Lube Guy Told Me To Run 44 Psi. The Dealer Says Go By What Is In The Door. Which Is 35 Psi. I Have Started 35 Psi For The Last Couple Months.

What Do Yall Think I Should Run?
And What Do You Run?

I've run through two sets of stock tires and have read the experiences of others in countless tire threads here. Assuming you are running a hemi (not a lighter V-6) and the stock Continentals, 35 psi is a good start.

These tires have weak side walls, so one needs to run a relatively high pressure to prevent premature wear to the tire edges. Any lower pressures than the 35 psi and you have to take it easy cornering. 35-38 psi is a normal range for spirited driving. If you are going to corner hard you need 40+ psi. The ride will be stiffer, but this will protect the tires and prevent sudden understeer.

Lube guy is a du***a*s, just because the max is 44 doesn't mean it's good for it.
36-38 range is good and safe.
You have to see how they feel too, if you put 40 and if feels like you're driving on rocks, bump it down to 38 or 36, you need a good compromise between confort and good tire pressure for good fuel economy.
A tip I saw from a car show on tv, is to burn some rubber for a few feet on a clean flat road, then look at the tire mark, if the center is more pronounced (more rubber/more black) it's overinflated, if the edges are darker it's underinflated, once you get a black uniform strip of rubber on the road, it's good (max patch contact)

I ran 39 PSI in the Crapinentals.

I run 36-37 PSI on the BFG KWDS tires. So far the tire guys say they are wearing very evenly.

I run about 37PSI on the fronts, 36 on the rears. Something whereabouts, it warms up to 40 in front and 39 in rear.

Used to run 30s until the last roadtrip when I realized they were running on the sidewalls REALLY BAD especially when you turned the wheel. Yikes.
