Thinking about buying coilovers and maybe just paying someone to install them. (im getting lazy)
If you paid to have yours doen, how much were you charged?
was it a dealer or aftermarket place?
thanks

I did mine with a well known performance shop locally. With the alignment it was $325. Just make sure you are specific about ride heights, because these can be a pain to adjust so you want to try and get it right the first time.

Why would you not buy them and have them installed all in one shot?
From a shop's perspective, labor will cost more on carry-in parts than for parts purchased at the store.
Further, when the parts you supplied have an issue, said shop is not responsible, and will charge you to R & R the part(s), not to mention the downtime and expense of shipping.
Just my .02; our shop refuses to install any parts bought elsewhere.

Since you're going with coilovers, its an easier install then lowering springs. You'll probably spend more time on adjusting it to get the right height then you do on the install, but in the end you'll have a big smile knowing that you did the work. Well thats how i feel at least.![]()

Shakin, if you want...I can help you install them. 06Daytona helped me installed my KWV2s, it did take awhile. But I saved hundreds of dollars, and I know how my suspension works fully.
If you dont want to install yourself, I would recommened you get Pro-Motion tuning to install them.

yeah, thats who i was thinking of having do it if I do pay to have the install done. I may just do it my self as well. I havent even bought them yet so, just trying to get a feel for what I want to do.
Jweezy, You were thinking of upgrading your KW's, still going that direction?

That company that was making them, had to move down to Texas, from Tennessee...I have basically gave up hope on them...
They said it would put a hold on the upcoming projects they have for the LXs, for at least 6 months.
