    Universal joint TSB's ?

I did a search and came up empty.
Are there any TSB's or known problems with the '05 Mag RT RWD universal joints? I have this crazy vibration at 10-20 MPH and again at 35-50 MPH. It comes and goes. First set of tires were replaced, new ones were road force balanced. Dealer has determined that tires and wheels are not at fault. Almost feels like driving over a washboard road, but not that bad. Tranny was flushed and refilled and "rubber" between driveshaft and rear end was also inspected. Vibration has been there since new. Anybody have any clues as to what is going on?

Have they actually checked the driveshaft its self for proper balancing?

if the vibration is noticeable at two distinct vehicle speeds, it's most likely engine rpm related. verify it occurs at same rpm range. sure sounds like trans/torque converter shudder.

First off, they said they checked the driveshaft for balance, do I really know, no! "Shudder" might describe it better than I did in the first post. The service manager told me they flushed the tranny. I asked if that would include the torque converter and he said yes. Whether or not they did the 3 flushes, as per the o-ring tsb, I don't know. They told me that was all that they knew to do to it and the next step was to call in a DCX Rep. All they can do is brag how smooth the car rides and this is true, except when you drive at those speeds. I will check the rpm range and see if that might be it.

Thanks fnky, I do trust what you are telling me. No TSB's on u-joints or any thing related?
