What tires are those? Here's mine with 255/35/20 tires on (actually those fronts are 245/35/20's but ... close enough)



These are actually my track tires. On the street I use these wheels and 255/45/20's all around.

I have KW V2's on as well and have dialed the car down to about a 2" drop in the front. The tires are 2" shorter than the stock 255/45/20 tires that are supposed to go with that wheel, so in this config I have about a 3" drop total.

You can drive it like this on the street. I tried it for a couple weeks, but it is definitely something you have to think carefully about. Lots of driveways won't like you. And its not just the front end. You will be scraping the exhaust pipes at this level, too. See my mudflaps? They are now gone. Scraped the snot out of them and they had to go because they were so close to the ground (about 2" or so) that they were a freaking hazard.

If you wanted to, and you had room in the fender wells, you could drop a car this much with just KW's I think. The problem would be you run out of fender well room.

The good thing about shorter tires is you make more fender well room, so if you take corners hard, you will stop scrubbing your tires on the fenders.

^ Thank you, Im running toyo proxe 4s(275/40/20) and was curious on how this low would look. I know I would have to be REAL careful with this drop...but wasnt sure JUST how. I just thik it makes the car look alot better when the fender gap is gone. Thanks for the nice explanation.

If all you have done is change the tires, and you are running those 300C-style 20" SRT wheels, you are golden. The 275/40/20 is the same outside diameter as the SRT-stock 245/45/20.

If you want to check out a great tire size calculator go to http://powerdog.com. You can line up 5 or six tires all at once and get numbers for all of them on the same screen.

The only thing I would be concerned about is the tire width when making very hard turns at 1 mph in a parking lot. You might rub the knuckles in the front a little. Thats why people use 3mm spacers with the 255/45/20 in the front.
