I replaced the Contis with BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDWS 245/55/18's.

I'd say that is your #1 all-season alternative, for both performance and value. A great 3-season can be had in the 255/55/18 BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW.

My first choice would be the BFG T/A KDWS 245/55/18. Second would be the numerous 255/55/18s that are available. Like Kumho, Hankook, BFG, Pirelli, Toyo, Nitto, etc.......

I had them for the last month of winter, and they were much better than the Contis for traction in ice and snow. I'm sure there are better winter tires out there, but I didn't feel like changing tires in the spring and fall.

The rule for changing sizes of tires is to stay within 3% of the overall tire diameter, and roughly the same load capacity.

67 Charger's got a sweet set of tires in those Michelin Pilot HX MXM4

The first batch of Charger Daytona RTs leaving the factory also had those shoes, but in 235-55-18. I'd say they are a far better choice than the Pirelli P6.

Too bad they don't come in 245-55-18 - they'd be almost identical to the stock diameter.
