    Tire question

I came across 2 STOCK sized F1's 255 series Goodyears an wondered if there is a problem running rsa's in front (245) with the F1s in the back ? Buddy says i may have issues in the rain because of tread pattern so is this true? These 255's have 7/32 of life remaining (roughly 70%) according to the owner of them for $150 an no patches or plugs ever . is this a good deal? Jic these are for my stock srt wheels (20's)

It may play with your ABS/Traction control if they are different heights.

    What are the full sizes?

That is true, but i'm not sure if the ABS is calibrated like that, or not

Didn't your car come stock with the 245/45/20 front 255/45/20 rear? (Didn't look before to see the model you had)

^^^^^ These are specs from Dodges Website ..... are u saying that 255 are on all 4 ? I thought the 255's came in the rear only with 245 in the front but match model F1 tires . I'm just trying to see if there is any problem with me running 255 F1's in the rear !?

My car has 245's on all 4 corners an also i have a diablo that i could maybe adjust the tire size to help the abs issue that i may run into right ? So i guess again the question would be if there is any issues driving wise/ safety wise .

It was my understanding (could be wrong) that ALL SRT8's came with:
    245/45/20 Fronts and
    255/45/20 Rears,
Check your door tag, see what it says, it may very well call for the 255's in the rear.

If yours is an SRT8 (like i mentioned, didn't pay enough attention in your first post) then it should not be a problem.

SRTs have two options on stock tires. The all season RSAs come in 245 all around. The "summer" F1s come in staggered 245 front and 255 rear. As you found out already, mixing different tires is not a good idea.
