    Question Tire balancing question?

    How often should you have your tires balanced? I have around 15,000 miles on them and have started to notice that the ride is not as smooth as it used to be. Also, does anyone know how long it takes for the dealership to balance all 4 tires? Thanks.

    I would balance them once a year or if you happen to notice a problem. They should be able to rebalnace in an hour I would think.

    I have been able to do it once per tire mounting and gotten away with that. However not so long ao I fumbled a wheel taking it off and knocked a couple weights off. Gave me a little vibration and so, Tuesday morning, I am having them balanced again. The tire shop said they will need an hour to road force balance them... and thats the only kind of balancing I would do on these big wheels of ours.
