    Tie-rod ends

    Someone mentioned that these were a common problem in our cars. What sayeth the masses? 85,000 kms and both are having to be replaced.

    They are speaking the truth.
    I have 48,000 miles on my car and the inner passenger tie rod was bad. Because these cars have a tendency to wear out the OEM inner tie rods and outer tie rod ends, I went ahead and replaced all 4
    (both inners and both outers) with Moog parts. Much better quality than the OEM parts. I hope to not have to replace them again.
    PPP stage 3 heads, Howards cam 219/227 .600/.575 112 +4, ported 6.1 intake, MMPG 85mm throttle body, MSD "Blaster" coils, JBA headers & mids, Corsa exhaust, Paramount "Dominator" torque converter & stage 2 valve body, BC Racing coilovers, Eibach sways, BWoody links, Razorsedge brace, 226mm Getrag 3.91 LSD, Wilwood "plus 2" big brake kit by TCE

    Do you happen to have the part numbers for the Moog parts?

    check out www.rockauto.com. thats where i ordered mine and they seem to be the cheapest i've seen.

    I'm on my third set, Factory went at 27K Mi, replacement set at 43K mi, and now I am running REM ones, hopefully I'll get some decent life out of them. Until this spring (when the REM ones went on I was on the factory 18s, with 5000mi on 255/55.
