    Thanks for the stud service.

I went to the track last night for a few passes. Taking the DRs off i discovered that 2 of my wheel studs were toast. So I had liitle choice but to drive home on the DRs and fix it today.

Well the 1st stud broke off no problem. The second however just spun in the hub? Fudge...Now what? Call a buddy and ask if he has any ideas? "Bring it over and we'll take a look" he says. Ended up they had to progressively drill out the lugnut and stud.

So now I only have 3 lugnuts on the wheel. I limped the car back to the office and installed 2 new oem studs without much trouble. I was a little worred the one hole was stripped but new stud seems secure.

Anyways, I'd like to THANK the guys at Wilson Manifolds for taking time to work on my car today.

Also would like to give props and thanks to Doug (PaCharger)for his excellent write up on swapping out the studs.

Anyone want to go to the track Friday?

What caused the bad studs, too much track running and switching wheels?

maybe, I also probably over torqued them. I was too lazy to use my torque wrench that was in the trunk. Plus I have a pretty big breaker bar.

I also have a pretty bad vibration at the top end, so i think my dr's need high speed balanced.
