tell me all about your 20" tires

its time for tires. i've been searching all over the net and need your own personal reviews.

i currently have toyo proxes 4's that are 245/45/20 and 275/40/20. i like them, but want different sizes. would like to run 245/45/20 and 285-295/40/20.

so if you don't mind tell me everything. handling, wet/dry traction, cost, where you got them, how there wearing, mileage.
    thanks in advance.

the proxys 4 come in a 275/40/20 if you liked the toyos you should just get those. there is not much diffrence from a 275 to a 285. i run the proxys 4 in a 275 myself on the rear.

I also have Nitto 420's. They seem to last forever since I bought mine used with the wheels and figured I need to replace them real soon. That was back in May and they still look exactly the same as they did then.

I notice they don't grip real well once they've worn down, but then again in AZ I don't really need that much traction. I can spin these tires easier on take off then I could with the Falken Ziex 912's on my stock wheels.

Well... they're big, wide, round and black... just how I like 'em!

Oh wait... what was the question again?

Sorry... couldn't resist! Anyway, I got the Yokohama Parada Spec-X tires in 255/45/20, on my SXT/AWD Charger. I've run them in several autocrosses, a Track Day at Mid Ohio and also lots of highway miles. I've been very happy with them!

lol this would be some good info to be answered. 295-40 rears sound real tempting. I dont care about rotating.

Falken 295/40/20 on the rear. These are my second set.

I can burn 'em when I want but, they stick real good in any conditions.

And you can't beat the price!

I am run the Toyo 275 40 20's on all 4 corners, and love them. The fit is great, no rubbing, good clearance, and with them all being the same size, you can do a front to rear tire rotation. That should prolong the life of the tires!!

I'm running the Nitto Invo's and so far, so good. Have about 7-8k miles so far. They are pretty quiet, and except for the expected harshness with 20's, they ride good. They also stick worlds better than the factor Continentals.
