    Question Which sways?

    Hotchkiss or ST? STs are are bit cheaper, but I don't know if I can stand that hideous green.

    I'm also debating waiting until I get the SRT stuff installed. I wonder if it would be a bit less expensive having it all installed at the same time.

    Will I need any sort of alignment afterwards?

    Have a look at the Mopar sways, they're 32mm front and 22mm rear, bigger in the rear than the Hotchkis and smaller in the front, which should grant more oversteer than the Hotchkis setup.

    The Hotchkis bars made a HUGE difference on my RT... I can't speak for the other companies. Given the competitive nature of the industry, I have to assume that as long as you stick within big-name players, you'll get what you pay for. Yes, you **should** get a rear alignment after you do the swaybars. If the car doesn't track, shake, or make new noises, you can probably get by for a while without one but it's not the "right" thing to do.

    I used Hotchkis setup on my Dak R/T, personally think they are top notch.

    Don't rely on dimensions. Hotchkis is the only company (that I've seen) to actually publish the % stiffness increase over stock... which would lead me to believe they lead the pack.

    Do rely on dimensions. Ignoring bushings, you can compare bar stiffness like so:

    D1 = stock bar diameter
    D2 = alternate bar diameter

    Stiffness ratio = (D2)^4 / (D1)^4

    Solid vs hollow makes a tiny difference in bar stiffness, but a big difference in bar weight.

    Here's a less expensive way to get bigger bars for an LX:

    Prices from a local dealer are $134 front, $155 rear, $5-6 per bushing.
