    Suspension upgrade for r/t charger??

    Guys,

I know nothing about suspensions. However, my stock r/t suspension seems a little loose at higher speeds. What is a good mod to give a more performance feel without giving up too much on ridability? What suspension do they put on srt's? Or on the road and track package? Would that work on mine?

    Thanks!

Anyone heard of the hotchkis stage 1 tuned suspension kits? Are they worth the money?

The Hotchkis is a nice setup, but it turned out to be too low for my Magnum. Draggin' the bottom over ever speed bump with passengers. I kept the Hotchkis sways on there and switched to the SRT8 springs and struts/shocks.
It looks like 2012 will be very good indeed.
Unless the Mayans are right, then, well, never mind.

You can keep the RT springs with the SRT shocks and rear Nivomats. I have had them on for a lot of miles, I think at least a 100,000 miles. I bought them from my dealer. If I had it to do over today I might have gone with Konis or the Pedders ones , the SRT Front Bilstiens and rear Nivomats are pretty firm. Definately get the Hotchkis sways too. Perhaps someone who has swapped SRT shocks for Koni or Pedders will post, but I'll go out on a limb and say the control is equal or better and so is the ride. If you only have good roads, no worry, but in Maine we have a lot of broken pavement and culvert bumps, the SRT shocks are kinda brutal, my 4x4 Ram rides better with Rancho 9000s adjusted full hard! On a good road however the car is rock solid at 160 mph.

A nice set of shocks and springs would do the job, swaybars would help as well.

Either avenue is a good one to take for better handling, especially at high speeds.

how is that bushing kit working out for you not that you have some miles on it?

I have an SRT8 and swapped out the shocks for the Pedders ones, the handling especially on turns that have bumps is dramatically improved with our kit.

I have next to no body roll, and last track day we had a NJMP we still had the stock Eagle F1 tires on it, and the tires couldn't keep up to the suspension, or the brakes, lol. The car was very stable at 140 at the end of the straight, and to top if off the ride home was nice too.
