    Angry Steering rack leaking...anyone else?

Greetings, all. The Lord be with you!

While having my oil changed today, my mechanic (independent garage) informed me that my steering rack and pinion is leaking, and the tie rod ends need replacing.

I haven't noticed any play in the steering or any other front end issues.

Does anyone else here have any experience with this happening? FYI, I have 126,000 miles on my 2005 RT.

The Lord bless and keep your coming and going!

Just recently had my tie rod ends replaced on my '05 magnum. There was a clunking noise whenever I hit a bump. It was still covered under the warrenty... so far all is good.

Yeah I had a leaky rack replaced at 14K, and it seems to be a semi common problem with these cars. It was seeping on the driver side of the rack.

Totally awesome that you have 125K racked up on the car. Is it holding up well? Aside from the steering rack. :D

I have not seen any racks leaking as of to date during any of our installs.

That is a lot of mileage, holy crap where do you go?
