    Staggered on Factory 18's

Anyone running staggered on factory 18" r/t in rims?

Looking for stock in front and 255/55/18's on back, only need rear tires right now and thinking of putting bigger meats on back.

it would be higher in the back cause the sidewall would be thicker.

I have that on mine now, and there's very little difference in tire height (radius), but it appears much larger due to the width.

I also ran 235/65/18's in the rear when I got a flat out of town, and had no choice in tire selection. They added quite a bit in height, and a speedo reset was needed (Superchips or Diablo). That lower my RPM and I gained about .4 MPG highway. The 235/65/18 you run out of clearance at the front of the wheel well.

Not much, those tires are fairly close in diameter.

    The stock 225/60/18 is 28.63" tall, a 255/55/18 is 29.04" tall. Only a .4" difference.
