    ST coilovers install?

I just got a set of ST coilovers from Josh @ HHP and eager to install. The box doesnt have any install instructions, the front are simple enough but Im not sure how the rear adjusters are supposed to mount, the rear shocks dont have tops, do I take these off the old ones? Torque specs ? Any help out there? Any pics installed? Thanks in advance

Are you sure it's the rears that don't have the hats? I had a set of these, and the rear shocks had upper mounts (if I recall correctly), and you're supposed to use the factory upper mount/hat for the front shocks (more expensive coilovers come with their own). The fronts are the bright shocks in the pic below.

The rear threaded spring perches should mount at the top of the spring (in the body, as opposed to the bottom of the spring in the lower control arm).

Can I ask how much you paid? and How low did you drop? From what I can tell there is no way to adjust installed, its gonna suck doing all the work and not like the height and having to do all over, to bad there isnt a chart to let you know where to set for 1.5" under stock for example. Thanks

My box wasnt as organized as yours, I found the tops for the rear shocks loose under some packing foam. Weird also my coils are yellow and not green.

yellow coils are typically KW coilovers. KW, ST and Mopar's are all made by KW. i believe they have the install instructions on their site as well.

Goodluck on the install. It's pretty straight forward, i've done several KW/Eibach Coilovers now. I'm just going to throw this out there.. adjusting the rear once set and buttoned up is a PITA... just sayin lol

I dropped mine all the way, but the rear sunk a little lower than the front, so I took it back and apparently it was an easy adjust (I wanted a mini rake on it). In regards to your other post, mine are green too, yellows are KWV1s right? I paid $899 for mine.

I could not agree with you more. I recently installed a set of BC Racing coil overs on an 08 Challenger SRT. She looks real mean sitting down that low. They have 32 clicks of dampning adjustment and height adjustment. The fronts are easy to adjust after they are on the car but the rears not so easy. If there is any pre load on the springs the adjustment collars will not turn so you have to release the lower control arm and then make the adjustment.

Those things look a little rough for being new...

Make sure you set your damping before you get it all buttoned up.
