    SRT8 wheel size - help

Does anyone know what wheel size you must use on an SRT8? Do they have to be 20's or will 19's or 18's clear the Brembos?
I'm trying to find this out for a friend who just got an 06 SRT8 Charger and is desparately trying to find out what he needs to put on winter tires. Thanks!

As you know 20's are standard and I know some guys use 17's with DR's on the track, but they have one hell of an offset to clear those big brembo's.

So it's not just the diameter that's important, it's the offset too!

tire rack has a couple 18's listed that they say will fit, but you have to look under winter. if you just search wheels it won't show you the 18's.

First advice, for snow find the narrowest treaded tire that will fit whichever diameter he chooses because as you know wide tires ski over snow and ice.

Second advice, don't drive an SRT8 in the winter. Get a very cheap winter beater to bang up.

    Hope that helped.
