SRT Shocks & Struts on RT

Hey everyone. I know that the Mags have longer springs in the rear vs. the 300c. What about the shocks for the rear? I'm looking at a SRT suspension, but all I really want is the shocks & struts. Should I have any problems?

I've got the SRT struts and rear SRT Nivomat shocks and kept RT springs thinking the ride would be smoother than the SRT8's. I also put on the Hotchkis sway bars. Handles like a go kart, but the ride is very firm. I'm guessing that the RT springs are already firm enough.

The Nivoshocks will only give little and they matched for a specific spring rate. If you change the rear shocks and not the spring the ride will be stiffer

Yeah, that's what I figured. Anyone found a good replacement for the stock struts/shocks? And no, coil overs aren't what i'm talking about.

Beandip, I hope I didn't discourage you, The SRT struts and shocks are awesome, it's just here in Maine in the winter the frost heaves the roads into nasty bumps and potholes so the difference in the ride was dramatic, you're in Texas and your roads are a lot better, you will love the difference, like I said, don't think that the spring rates are that much different between the 2 cars. Check pricing from your Dodge dealer, fronts are $115 each or close and rear Nivomat SRT shocks were $220 or so each.

;Yeah, I'm thinking I may go ahead and grab them. The suspension is off a 300 SRT, so I don't want the springs, it'll drop my car too low in the rear. I figured it was worth it just for the shocks to be honest.

Yup, they are the shorter ones. The car only drops about 1/2" to 3/4", yet the springs are like 3" shorter
