    SRT/RT brake swap

I know this topic has been visited and revisited ad infinitum but I'd just like some quick info before I take the plunge.

I'm looking to upgrade my front RT stock brakes to a takeoff SRT set. I know I need knuckles, rotors, lines, calipers, and wheels to clear it all. My question is this: With respect to the knuckles/spindles... just what is needed? A local salvage yard has a set but I'm not sure on just what to take off. Just the knuckle with the hub assembly or do I need the control arm and tension strut too? If I were to just replace the knuckle and nothing else would it bolt right in to my current RT control arm/tension-strut/tie-rod assembly? Also, since the SRT knuckles are quite different, will my RT steering rack fit? Pic below (Image taken from LX Wikipedia article by DMAG). Don't pay attention to the yellow, only whats circled in blue.

Also, as far as the different lines, will these just swap out or do I have to mess with different pumps and all that jazz?

Again, I have an idea of the parts needed but now that I am actually gathering parts I am getting into the nitty-gritty details of what to purchase. If anyone has a pic of an SRT spindle/knuckle so I know what exactly I'll need from the swapout car I'td be greatly appreciated. Thanks anyone for the help.

Just the knuckle hub.....the rest is the same.Your rack will fit but you will of course need an alignment again.

Wow... I just added a pic and already got a reply. Thx Erik... yeah, i figured I'd need an alignment. The boys down at the alignment shop cringe when they see me coming... I bet they have a pic of me in the basement with "Do NOT Service" underneath
