MAN! I love my RE tower brace, BUT, this thing is an exact duplicate of the DC strut brace. and for this price, if I would have found this at the time, I would have got this instead and saved myself two hundo.

looks exactly the same as the now defunct DC sports strut bar. I have the DC bar and love it.

Sure does look like the DC bar.
But there is no way the engine cover fits under the bar, as is shown in this photochop.

I ordered one last week and still waiting on it. I got the black because the chrome one in the pics looked really bad. Hope to get it soon.

After seeing the bars that introduce a couple of triangles into the fray, I'll go that way if the money tree ever flowers again - I think that's a way better idea.

Not that this one isn't a good idea or anything like that, just saying...

It kind of looks like they cut a chasm through their cover to fit the bar. That's one way to do it.

This isn't going on a HEMI, though. Just a 6

I own a DC bar and it actually rubs on the PCV valve lid/cap when the car flexes. I had to use a metal file to file down the PCV valve lid/cap to stop it from rubbing. If they cut through the engine cover I think their picture would show the cut. The pic looks too perfect. IMO, that pic is a photochop.

There is a very noticeable difference in outer diameter between this bar and the DC bar. As far as wall thickness and materials, that's anyone's guess. For their price, I'd bet they're not using 4130 or similar...
