    Show off your 18s

Hey everyone. I've been going back and forth in my head on whether i want to go to 20's or stick with the 18's. If someone could tell me the weight difference between the srt 20's and the RT 18's, and for those of you that went from 18s to 20, how was the feel on performance and what not. I know that when i switched from my 17's on my dodge ram to the 20's i noticed a big drop in acceleration. Pics of you guys with 18's would be great. I want to go with the 300SRT8 wheels, just don't know if I want to sacrifice performance in the process. Thanks everyone.

I posted a thread a short time ago as I just put on a set of 300SRT8 wheels on my mag in the wheels/suspension section where I list the weight differences that I can't remember off hand right now. It is about 9 lbs between the 18's and CSRT 20's with tires.

Did you notice a significant loss in acceleration or MPG?

went from 18s to 20s three weeks ago. Thought I'd regret it a bit too...NOT AT ALL!

Total tire/wheel height was only about an inch more.

I don't notice a sotp difference in acceleration and I did run at the track before and after with pretty much the same results.

MPG - I haven't been paying much attention to the mileage. It's depressing with the rising prices but I can't say I have noticed a big difference there either.

    Go for it!!

BTW - Remember you will need spacers for the front wheels

Those look good Chargershed. I'm thinking I might just bite the bullet and go with the 300SRT wheels. FreebirdSRT's pics have sold me! I put on my SRT front end tomorrow and i'll get my exhaust done next week hopefully. After that, an programmer then new shoes. At least I hope it's in that order. Thanks everyone and keep the 18's coming!

I think I am going to go with the Cragar 610 18's. The price difference in tires alone is nearly double from the 18" to 20"

I went from stock 18 to staggered 20. I did not notice any performance loss, and very minimal MPG. The ride is fine and wife approved. I think there was a MFO where stock 18 and aftermarket 20 were compared and the results showed that there was not very much performance loss with the 20's.
