    Replacement Rear Shocks - Ideas?

So I spent the better part of an hour under the mag yesterday trying to locate what I thought was an exhaust rattle that was driving me nuts!!
I was about to give up and something told me to take a look at my rear shocks. My driver side shock bottom bolt was a tad under tightened. . I know this fix is temporary as the last time I had them out installing my DSS axles, they barely had any rebound left but I left them in for use as poor man's drag shocks . . LOL. (I'm kidding)

Any suggestions for replacements? I really don't want stiffer shocks that will hurt weight transfer off the line and I don't want to pay dealer prices for replacements if I can avoid it?

BTW - I already have low mileage OEM shocks/springs for the front from a Daytona ready to go in.

    Tks

I thought the Eibachs were all lowering and/or stiffer?

Pedders . . hmm. . good call, let me dig a bit on their site and see what they have for a near stock replacement.

I know the Eibachs can handle lowering, I don't know if they're specific for it.

Only s***ty thing to keep in mind if you go that route is the fronts aren't adjustable coilovers, you have to change springs to change height. Doesn't sound like that's your concern anyway, so maybe it's a non-issue.

I have the Eibach front springs on my Magnum and will need shocks soon too I believe. I thought I read awhile back that the Eibach shocks weren't the best quality. Has this been addressed by Eibach?

My buddy and I have decided to order a set of rancho shocks in the length we need and with the bottom eye bolt and use the top factory mounts. Around $55 each and they'll be fully adjustable.

Yup. I'm keeping stock height. NY streets beat up on my suspension too much as it is.

Eibachs Pro-dampers are top quality. They do all they are supposed to and more in my opinion. With a million mile warranty, you can't go wrong. I know there are other makers of top quality dampers too. It comes down to preferrence.
