Recently I did a pre-check roadtest for evaluation, and found a drift to the right. Everthing looked ok. I am aware of the bulletin on relocating the front cradle. So we loosened the motor mounts, supported the ending, then loosened the cradle bolts, and the cradle barely moved, and basically made no changes. Did I miss a step? Have others had success with this method?

thanks
mike

NOTE :Before evaluating the vehicle, it is important to check the following:
1. Tire pressure - Adjust tire pressure (if necessary) in all four **tires** to the pressure stated on the door placard.
2. Tire size & type - Verify that all four tires are the same size and type.
3. **Ensure all luggage compartments are free of anything other than factory equipment.**
NOTE :When evaluating the vehicle, always drive the same road in both directions to get a feel for the effect of road crown, **rut wander** and cross wind.
QUIPMENT REQUIRED:
NOTE :**Ensure alignment equipment has been calibrated according to the Manufacturer's requirements.
NOTE :The vehicle will lead toward the side with the least positive caster. CROSS CASTER (left minus right) for front end alignment: (Relative to Individual caster, the RIGHT side will typically be higher than the LEFT side.)
^ RWD: - 1.0 degrees and no more than - 1.6 degrees.
^ AWD: - 0.6 degrees and no more than - 1.2 degrees.
^ SRT: - 0.0 degrees and no more than -1.2 degrees

^ SRT: + 0.30 degrees
NOTE :RIGHT LEAD CRADLE SHIFT (Produce more negative cross caster) Utilize the cradle shift method FIRST. When shifting the cradle, the passenger's side of the cradle will move forward in car and the driver's side will move rearward in car. The target torque for the cradle bolts are 175 N - m or 130 lbs - ft.
