I loved mine and had no complaints at all. But I also cut a half a coil on the fronts ones to lower it 1/2" when I first installed them. This one mod is the best bang for the buck you can do for an RT IMO. I ran these for something like 40K miles and never had any issues. they gave up nothing on the track compared to the coil overs. Now on the road was a different story. I now have the Tein with EDC controller. Very comfy on the road.

would it be smarter to go with the pedders setup the GSR shocks? Especially when they have that 50% off.

Best suspension mod i've done so far. A bit rougher on the road but nothing horrible. Just tossed on a new rack & SRT 30mm front bar but i haven't really driven it since to give my thoughts.

If you are trying to decide between stock and SRT stuff, then do it! Much better than stock.

If you are trying to decide between SRT stuff and an aftermarket setup, well, start saving your pennies.

The ONLY reason to choose an SRT suspension over any thing else is if you regularly tow a trailer, or load your car with luggage/people. The automatic ride height is great. But that automatic ride height is a serious compromise to handling. The rear just can't keep up with the rest of the car.

I REALLY want to get something else, either Pedders or Teins. If the rear was EASILY adjustable for ride height with the Teins, I'd do whatever it takes to have that setup.

Oh, like Cam, I also cut 1/2 coil off the front SRT Springs. I'm actually quite happy with the way it sits, I wouldn't want too much lower really. Well, maybe a bit. But it has nice even fender gap front and rear.

If you live in a state with crappy roads like Maine, you can keep the RT springs and just replace the front and rear shocks. The Hotchkis sway bars really work well with this mod.

Really depends on if you've done this sort of thing before. I've done suspension work on every car I've ever owned, and have the tools for it.

spring compressors, several sets of jack stands, floor jack, sockets, impact wrench, breaker bar.

If you don't have all that, including some experience doing other cars, I'd say get some help from other friends that have, or take it to a shop.

Oh, and don't forget, you'll want a cut-off wheel, to take 1/2 coil off the front springs. I would NOT do this mod without that, especially for a V6.

    R/T - SRT suspesion swap

One of the most cost effective for handling improvement I have done on the car, cost me only 270 for istallation and 4 wheel alignment.

Took a trip to San Diego from the San Fernando valley, and it was amazing how much the handling had improved. REM subframe braces, bumpsteer kit, and DCMS front strut brace highly reccomended as well, I'm trying adjustable sway bar end links before commiting to larger sway bars.

Well, that's up to you I guess. Not a problem really. Take a look at my photo in post 8. That's with a heavier V8, and 1/2 coil cut off. You can probably add at least 3/4 inch to that on your car, with no coil cut.

...for installation on a Magnum... You really only need to cut the front springs if you get the Charger or 300 SRT suspension to compensate for the rear height. Otherwise it's just personal preference. The Magnum SRT springs are about 1/2" taller (same shock and spring rate).

I just installed the Magnum SRT rear springs with Charger SRT8 rear Nivomats, and Charger SRT8 front springs/shocks on my Magnum RT. The car drives great now!
