Questions about 20s and Coilover kit

Ok so yes my Eibach coilover kit is in got the car back from the dealer yesterday. I was driving it today and I have never driven on 20s before. It feels weird to me. So my question to the guys with 20s and up do they usually feel funny when you drive on them?? I felt alot of shaking not used to them first time driving on the suspension and rims. I also feel like I have lost some umph in the car.. The shaking started at about 50 and sort of stopped at about 65 to 70 mph. Well that is what the gauge said I know it is off now.

I may be jumping the gun but if it doesn't get better I may be selling the rims which have brand new tires on them..

I'm assuming you got the car aligned and all that stuff. Once you drop the car you will need to get that done for sure. As for the 20's I know when I installed them i felt like I lost alot of umph as well. You may or may not get used to it. I think I got used to it.

As for the shaking and sort, I don't have any of that but I did notice a difference in the feel when I put the 20s on. I got used to that as well.

Yeah I actually have to get an alignment this weekend. if nothing changes then I guess I will be going back to stock 18s until I get some nice 18s... Oh and as far as the UMPH is concerned I really want that back

20's will slow the car down. As for the shaking, you may have a tire/wheel balance issue. I know when I first got my 20's on, it shook like a beast. The shop I got them from had to roadforce balance them multiple times. This included breaking them down and remouting the tires on the wheels to get rid of some of the shaking. They eventually got the issue fixed. Also check the tires for any bulges (sidewalls mainly) or anything that looks abnormal as you may have a bad tire.

Don't sell them due to the shaking. Go back to where you had them mounted and balanced and let them know.

I smile because i have no idea whats going on.

Either the balance is screwed up or they forgot to take the clips off the wheel studs and the rims are not seated on the hub.
