Please help me identify this noise..

    hola!

I need a little help from the lx community

My 300c started to make strange noises, and it gets worse every day. I think the noise must come somewhere from the rear right suspension, maybe from the KW-v2, I don't know exactly.. you can hear it on every little bump in the road and it sounds like something is seriously broken.
Today I went to the chrysler dealer, he checked all the bolts on both sides, and also the exhaust, but everything seems to be okay.. he couldnt help me and after nearly one hour he gave up..

here's a video of that noise: (well, audio quality is not the best, but you can hear it @ 0:01 / 0:10 / 0:16 / 0:20 and 0:29..)

    Inside.wmv

it is much louder when you sit in the car.. the microphone of video camera isnt really HiFi capable ;-)

you can't hear much in the second video, there are too many background noises, but I uploaded it anyway:

    Outside.wmv

any ideas what kind of noise this is and where it could come from?
does this sound like a broken damper?

    thanks a lot!
I'm sorry but the 300c is gone..

Check out my post dealing with an issue I just resolved. I took it to a dealership too, and they checked everything, but somehow missed the sway bar end link bolts that ended up being the issue.

Loud Clunk/rattle from front of car.

Well, my issue was with the front.
The sway bar end links require a 21mm open ended wrench and a 10 or 12 mm socket. I put a breaker bar on it so I could get tighten the hell out of it. Fixed the problem for me. Just putting a wrench along on the nut won't let you turn it to tighten, you need two wrenches or wrench and ratchet to do it.

Did you upgrade your sways? Maybe the sway brakets are loose.

Also, check your rear Cradle Bolts. I put a 2ft long breaker bar and tightened them suckers down as hard as I could.

Hopefully you find your problem! Good luck!

thanks for your input! I'm glad you got rid of your annoying noise
I think I will take the car to the dealer again to check that, but I will wait until one of the other service guys returns from holidays. I dont want the same person to look at it again and pay for nothing.

I have replaced the front swaybar bushings twice in 107,000 miles, when they go you hear a terrible clunking, it sounds like the wheels are going to fall off. I have had Japanese cars that wore the rear bushings and they sounded as bad. Grab the bar where it goes thru the bushings and shake it. If thats it, the bushings are cheap and easy to replace.

update: today I went to another chrysler dealer, but again, it was a waste of time. there must be something wrong with the KW dampers.

tomorrow I will meet with the KW guys..

There could very possibly be something wrong with them. If there is, I hope KW takes care of you! Good Luck!
