Photochop and Final Decision Help On This 3-Piece Wheel, Please...

After three, very long months, I've decided to go with this wheel. I'm going to change it to a flat black face with a machined lip and machined lines down the middle of each spoke. I need help with the small lip portion between each spoke (where the small bolts attach). Should I also do that black? Or leave it machined to make the spokes appear longer and stand out. I can also have the bolts powdered black to match a black background or leave them polished to stand out.

Can someone please photochop this wheel to have flat black spokes and a machined line down the middle of each spoke, please. And if do-able, maybe show me the different looks of machined bolts vs. flat black bolts on the different backgrounds. I'll be glad when this is over and I finally bolt on some shoes

I am not a PS'er but I really like the wheel as it is, except maybe the black painting of the bolts.

    Nice!

They look nice! I would just powdercoat all of it. Mayb you can leave the lines chrome? That may give you the longer spoke look. Just a thought.

they have a lot of nice wheels on their website, btw.
How much $$$ do they go for, if you don mind me asking. Are you getting 22s?

Would you leave the bolts polished on the small polished lip, or black on black, or some other combo?

lowriderman3 got it about right. Retail is about $4500 for a set of 22s. I'm going with 22x9 and 22x10.5. How about the bolts? Polish on the small polish lip, black on black powder? Watcha think, considering I'm going with the flat black face/spokes?

Hey buddy, here is my suggestion, and I am no photochopper, so I have no pics to help me out, lol.

I would have the face of the spokes done in flat black, leaving the center machined line chrome. Then leave the rest of the wheel chrome, including the bolt areas. This will make the spokes look much longer and give the illusion that the rim is not only a 2 piece, but the spokes will appear to be laid in over the face of the wheel.

With how the spokes widen at the outside of the wheel the effect will be sweet. These things are expensive, so take your time and make the decisions that will suit you and your car best. I'm still jealous of that car you know, lol.

Your'e a good man. I appreciate your feedback and that is the way I'm leaning right now. The fact that those spokes widen at the bottom the way they do is one of the reasons I chose that wheel. Doing both black would lose that effect. I took all of the chrome off of my car, so I'm going to go with a machined lip/lines with a shot of clear over it, rather than chrome. Thank you again. This process has been such a PITA!

no problem, anytime! This may help a bit, lol... I decided to use MS Paint to my advantage for once and used the invert feature on the picture of your rim.. take a look, lol

Actually, that does help. I like how the spoke stands alone and will probably go with that set-up. Thanks for doing that for me....
