    How did you paint them if they were chrome?

    2006 Magnum RT, Brilliant black, Tint to match OEM, Flowmasters 40's, Sirius custom placed in Sunglass holder, sitting pretty on 22" Black with chrome lip Fusion Flex wheels, STAGGERED!

    This is a picture from another board of them sanded. This is actually the look I like, chrome lip with brushed centers. Anyone know if the centers are sanded, and then cleared, if they will keep the same look and hold up?

    They came out really nice, but I don't think this is a DYI type of mod. Well the taping and sanding can certainly be done at home, but to have any chance of the paint sticking to a chromed wheels they really need to be epoxy primered. With professional grade epoxy primer, shot and baked in a spraybooth. If you try to use the rattle can primer your looking for trouble. Remember once you sand your chrome wheels there is no going back.
