    Ok, Dont Laugh, But...............

Ok, so on my Chally I have 315's in the rear with no rub at all. I have SRT OEM front springs to be installed in place of my RT's springs. This will give me a 1" drop in the front. Here is my dumb question. Is there a taller spring I could replace the RT's rear springs with, that will give me a 1" lift? AND, is this at all possible with out messing something up mechanically or on the computer?

I honestly don't know of any taller springs, but I will put in my plea for you not to do what I believe you're thinking about

just think, you'll be saving gas, cause you'll always be going downhill. hehehe

I have a suggestion, not sure if it would work, but why not throw in SE rear springs, they sit higher then eth R/T SRT's I think. I'll have mine off this week, I have to come to E-Town in 2 weeks, so I could bring them.

You may want to try the nivomats that come on the 6 speeds as they are a loadlevel and push the tail up. just a thought

Magnum springs are a bit over 1 inch taller. I bought some SRT suspension from a member couple years ago, he didn't tell me they were off a Magnum, my rear end got raised about 1.2 inches, and I had an old school 1970s style rake on my car for awhile until I replaced the springs.

I run the Pedders drag springs, they are 30MM taller in the rear. PM me if you want a price as I am a dealer for them.

So I looked into the spring spacers from a co. in East Canada that makes them. They do not have them for our cars yet, and may not ever. I am waiting to hear back from my Dodge dealer on if there is a 1" larger spring that will fit with out throwing off my self leveling shocks as I have a 6-speed.

I'm certainly no suspension expert, but lowering the front and raising the rear could potentially cause significant handling issues. If what you're contemplating rolls the top of the spindle forward (negative caster?) too much, the car could become "darty", like to follow rain grooves in the pavement and loose on-center steering feel.

At some point, Fireman may weigh in... he's got a good handle on suspension info...

Raked look is sick!! Although I wouldnt advice the Pedders Drag springs and a 1" drop in back! I just got the Extreme Xa's from pedders and there full adjustable coil overs for all 4 corners. Either that or get some KW's!!

I am not looking for great handling with this idea, I just want a cheaper choice then to go with coil overs. The front drop of a 1" is easy enough with OEM front SRT springs. But for the rear, I like the idea of just putting a taller spring in, but I don't want to mess up the self leveling shocks.
