    new wheels rub

Specifically - I'm wondering if any '05 MAG R/T RWD owners with Eibach Pro springs and struts had fitment problems(rubbing) with the factory repro. viper wheel pkg. STAGGERED 20x10 285/40/20 nitto rears. Note that I've had the Eibachs for over three yrs.and left rear camber is way out at -2.6.When you pull the top of the wheel out to bring it near spec,it will rub even more. I may roll the fenders, but I'm not sure that will be enough.

I've got an '05 R/T with Eibach Sportline drop. (2") I have KMC Dime wheels 22" x 9.5" with 265/35/22 tires. I too have some negative camber, but I do not rub. Probably because I have a 9.5" wheel. I tuck up inside, so it's a toss up if I'd rub or not after adjusting the camber. So I've decided to leave the camber as is. The tires appear to be wearing fine. I'm sure rolling the fenders will help you out. It will definitely be better than not rolling them.

22x10.5 rears with 295/30. Had to roll the fenders to tuck it. Didn't even bother with the camber since, like you said, adjusting it will bring the top out even more. Plus I'm on air suspension so I can just adjust the height.

    Update

    Thanks all,
I spoke to Doug at Factory Reproductions and he could not believe I was rubbing, said it is the first he's heard of this and would get back to me... I stopped waiting and went to a few different places. Thanks to Popeye's Hemi for all the suggestions, but I'll probably have someone do it. The big news is I think the tire was rubbing only on a piece of the plastic inside the wheel well that had come out of place. We popped it back into place and I hear no more rub! I may go and do the camber adjustment and see how close the top of the wheel comes to the fender lip, then go from there.
