new srt wheel powdercoating idea...what do you think?

at first i didnt like this srt wheel but i thought about coating the pockets black.

so dumpster photoshopped this for me. i love this wheel now. i think this is going to be my next set of wheels.

    what does everyone think?

if anyone has these rims and wants to sell them let me know

I am not really on this part of the forum but I haven't seen rims that were powdercoated like that so I would say go for those because you could be unique and maybe start a trend. If I had the money I would buy those rims and do what you jus photo shopped or is it chopped? Whateva but that's a nice design
Now you stated these are basic SRT 8 rims and jus the design of the powder coat makes it look like the spokes are raised in the middle, thinner and look like they are @ a slight curve?

I guess the LX crowd are mixed about this optional SRT wheel for 08.

Most here like this new wheel option while most members on the SRT.oc slammed them for looking too cheap and prefer the standard SRT Charger rims. I personally like the new wheel stock or painted/powdercoated. Please post pics if you decide to do it.

I've been thinking it all along... those wheels need black pockets.
