    Megan Racing Coilovers

I ordered and installed a set of Megan racing coilovers total cost shipped was $900. This got me a height and rebound dampening adjustable coil over. So far everything is going well with them. The install was not difficult and everything went in smooth. The spring rates are good and on the softest setting i would say its a little bit softer then the SRT suspension. With the settings all the way firm its a nice tight ride and should be good for the NJMSP track day im going to later in the month.

There is also a ton of height adjustment you can have the car sitting above the stock ride height or low enough to have lots of rubbing issues. I'm sitting somewhere in the middle right now. I might go lower at some point just to see how it is.

I didn't take any pictures with the wheels off but here are some terrible shots of the fronts.

I think these are a viable alternative to KW's or Pedder's non adjustable strut and spring combo. I will report back if i have any issues crop up with them but from the reviews of these coilovers on other platforms I'm not expecting them to give me any problems.

It should be noted that these are adjustable from the top which is similar to the "xA" coilover that Pedders is developing and is probably less than half the price. I look forward to hearing some more reviews of these coilovers.

Your car looks great the way it sits. I really like that. Nice find...

    Very cool.

I have KW's, but these look great and especially since they are adjustable in both compression and rebound. I think only the fronts are coilovers, though.

BTW, where did you get them. Thanks.

KW v2, tein etc...are all adjustable from the top also. I would have tried these out if I didn't just go with KW variant 2s. Thanks for the write up.

I stand corrected and I await handling and comfort comparisons to the popular competition out there.

Comfort is good (like i said in the op they can be set to be a bit softer then the stock srt suspension). On the handling front, ill let you know how my lap times are around thunderbolt on the 30th.

Im diggin the **** out of these. I like the looks and the fact it doesn't reuse the stock spring mount in front!

On the adjustment. Where you have it set right now. How much height adjustment up and down is there?

it's easy bro!By looking at these they look like they would be a cake walk, especially since (unlike kw, eibach, ect...) you don't reuse the stock upper spring mounts in the front so no need to compress and disassemble front coils. The rears appear to be similar to the other Coilover setups on the market. Just have to replace the rear spring and shock!

It looks like another competitor joins the fray! And at a price point cheaper than anyone out there! Something tells me that eBay vendor is about to be a very happy man/woman!

Bring on the new comers to the suspension game!

what about the rear spring when you take it off do you not need to compress it?..i wouldnt want to be taking it down and the spring come shooting out and hit me in the head!!...it might damage the spring!..and we cant have that some other lxer might want my stock set up!

The rear is difficult. It requires dropping the rear cradle which is time consuming.

Right now ive got it set at 17 clicks from the softest setting front and 0 clicks in the rear. Im waiting for a set of Adjustment extension cables to start playing with the rear adjustments.

You have to lower the rear subframe to remove and install the springs, there is no worry about the spring flying anywhere. Its definitely a DIYable install as long as you rent a pickle fork to separate the upper control arm from the A arm on the fronts.
