Met with Andre,,,good guy...spent an hour with me, got car on lift.
Was amazing that my car tracked so well considering it was way out of spec...
He could not align properly until I get Front & Rear adjustable UCA's.....

So who has what I need?
I heard that a later year arm has adjustability ?
    Thanks ...James

I don't want to step on any vendor toes here. But SPC Adjustable Upper Control Arms can probably had from Speedlogix or Circuit Motorsports, I got them from a member of another forum who decided to trade in his car, I believe that he got them from one of these vendors.

PS I do not know of any later year LX that had Caster Camber Adjustablility like the SPC/Eibach ones do, if anyone else knows the answer to this, please do chime in.

James, They are very good to deal with and like any other vendor, if something is not right, they will fix it. Sean, Lisa and Mikey all run a tight ship to keep us happy.

Glad to hear things went well with Andre too, good people, service with a smile!!

Henry, she handles great up until last week, I hit a pothole, middle lane Rt 17, 18"x18"x4" @ 40mph, in the middle lane, traffic on both sides of me, it was unavoidable. It not only bent a heim joint, but a resultant hairline crack in the adjustment nut. (See Pics) I was on the phone with Jay last week of Jay's Hot Rods in California, and Saturday afternoon he called me, gave me a tracking number and I just got them today. Jay's Hot Rods ROCKS!!!!! Jays_0162.jpgJays_0163.jpg Will keep you all posted on the progress, HPDE is March 30th and I still have to add oil cooler, trans cooler, PS Cooler installed and get tech-inspected locally by NASA.

hey meech, great job bud, you covered all grounds and didnt cut anycorners, wish we had mechanics out there that would do the work the way you did, but i guess that adds to the moniker do it yourself if you want it done right. those eibach front upper control arms come with the bushing and joint as i direct replacement for the oem unit? do you think it is built to outlast the OE part? just curious because im coming to the time where i will need to be replacing all the front end stuff.

Yes, direct replacement Mr. Breezy, PM me for my number, I see you're local to me. The car handled very well, so well that I when I started last on the last HPDE Session of the novice group, I hunted down the lead instructor. Someone was there and got the picture of it at NJMP coming out of the Octopus and heading for the esses:

I want to take a moment to thank my cousin at Spartan Automotive who helped with time and effort into the early hours of the morning, Will King who helped set me up with the right parts. Pete Latos who was my pit crew and also helped getting the car completed. Mike Wilson, my NASANE instructor, Pete (xxEvilPetexx) Danielson whose wheel and tire package I purchased here on LXF, Andre Halkias @ Marquino's Tire & Wheel in Bellmore, Long Island who did the alignment, and Speedlogix again for producing the "right stuff." There are more pictures and videos of the event here (Please like and share):

I saw a thread this morning but was busy and could not reply, and I cant find it now, but in that thread, someone was asking for torque specs for the suspension front and rear. This is what I used, direct source, from Chrysler's Shop Manual, 2005-2006:

Link is here for larger pics:

Man...I love this thread. I'm trying to upgrade my suspension more and this information is so helpful. Meech, did you ever try the stiffest settings on the sway bars yet? I wanna change my links as the BWoody's are not able to use the stiffest hole on the sway bar. I bought Mopar front tension arms and the lower control arms because the bushings are cracking. I also got Moog ball joints (non-adjustable) and waiting for my tie rod ends. So many more parts to get and trying to get all the parts first before working on car.

That's what I did, got all the parts little by little (2 kids in college) and pushed forward to the build. I have yet to need the stiffest hole for the track I was on, gonna wait and see when I hit Pocono, Watkins Glen & VIR for what they call for and make subtle changes. I ran NJMP Thunderbolt (no slicks) with middle setting and coilovers adjusted to 15F 12R because I forgot to change them. Will King, NYC_SRT8 ran slicks with 30F/30R on his beast with great success. Not sure where his sways are set, you can ask him.

Thanks Bro, look who's talkin! Mr. Mod Himself! Yeah, we're never finished. This can of worms is buried...LOL It could not have been possible with all the help I had along the way, Will King, Matt Robertson, Paul from Razors Edge and Mikey from Speedlogix.

Sometimes living in paradise gets boring. No track of any kind here. Maybe an autocross several times a year. I would love to run at the Glen only because Nascar runs there and looks like fun and challenging. Does Pocono have a road course also? I only saw their tri-oval. VIR looks cool also. Yep, paradise is boring.
