I think in all this posting, I forgot to mention that they were SPC Upper Control Arms, fully adjustable. I am also of the understanding that these and the ones from Eibach are one and the same.

    Thanks,

Cool UPDATE: My Car swing's it's ass like J-LO dancin'

    UPDATE:
I had an alignment, and despite giving the guy a hand written explanation of how I want my car set up with these new parts, he just YESSED me to death, kept the car the whole day, and gave me a rolling sliding SRT8. With the way he has the car set up, I could do donuts all day long. Problem is, I didn't want that to happen around a turn, nearly got sideways on a right hander. Thanks to a connection from Will King, yes, the man came through again, I will be leaving 5:30 in the morning to head out to the deep recesses of Long Island to get a proper alignment. Then Im going to take that spec sheet from the Long Island shop and shove it up this guy's assk!!!

I don't race my car, but I do drive very spirited...if you know what I mean.

So that's why I chose the second hole....somewhere in the midline. Meech
    Bingo!

Hole closest to the solid part of the bar, stiffest.

Hole towards the end of the bar, softest.

keep in mind though the spring rates are way stiffer as well, so most daily drivers may find the stiffest settings overkill.

also you can tune in or out oversteer/understeer from front to rear depending on adjustments.

    I so love adjustable stuff!

Meech, hows all riding so far?

Why sit around & watch everyone else live YOUR dream?

    Typical Forum Hypocrisy:
Poster A: I noticed better mid-range & better throttle response
Poster B: We need dyno proof, no car we've ever worked on had gains, but we've never done any tests.
Poster A: (provides legit proof from multiple sources) Tests were done on my car & X amount of others. shows gains in midrange.
Poster B: Well i dont accept that it made gains, its just there to look pretty, no car i've put it on made gains, dynos vary 5-20whp per run.

Funny how nothing makes gains, until THEY find a way to sell it to you.

Bro, if this alignment doesn't work tomorrow morning, Im going to have to import a bunch of your Samoan brothers to ride the back seat. LOL I will let you know how it works out.

In all fairness to the first alignment shop which came highly recommended, was walking distance to my home, it was still not worth a damn. He should have told me that he could not do an alignment because he didn't know **** about custom parts. I even brought him the parts and asked if he understood how they were to be applied and what I was expecting to do with the car, (HPDE). He stated: "Oh sure, no problem, just install the parts and bring the car here for the alignment."

I don't do a damn thing to my car that someone here has not done already. That's why I LOVE this forum. Hence, my two year researching the forum, stocking of parts, and selling my other parts funded my current passion. While everyone is out there building more horsepower, I am of a different ilk, I build from the bottom up. Tires, suspension, brakes, etc. No offense to the engine builders in the group, it's just that this is a daily driver and I like sticking to curves, the female kind and the road kind.

That being said, what a contrast and comparison! Props to (Tom),TDola, and Will King, again for this hook up! I wish he was my wing man back in the day would have avoided all those grenades!

I got up early, trekked out to Long-GUY-land as they say. For JAMESMOST and anyone else interested, the shop name is Marquino's Tire & Wheel, contact person is Andre Halkias at 2199 Bellmore Avenue, in Bellmore, Long Island. Not cheap at $290.00 but worth every penny.

Ok why it costs more. He equalized all tire pressures. Does a baseline alignment.... asks you what you want to do with the car, then takes the car on a 6-8 mile (road test) jaunt, pushing the car with you in the passenger's seat so he can determine the handling characteristics of where the car is and where you want the car to be at the end of the alignment. He then goes over all the parts, determines if the car needs anything and then proceeds. In the mean time I called MJR5150 the night before and texted him that if he wanted to get together for lunch we could do it while the car got aligned.

This is when the proverbial **** hit the fan. Andre informed me that I needed all four (4) bearings and both lower ball joints, I gave him the VIN number and he proceeded to order the parts, ran a number for me and it wasn't pretty. Here I am, out on Long Island and now the car was gonna either roll off the rack without an alignment or go back home, and bug my cousin again to borrow his shop.

MJR5150 walks in and I elected to put everything on a credit card and suffer the repercussions of two kids in college, a financial strategist wife hell bend on down sizing spending....lol The bill with labor was $2700.00!

Needless to say I spent the day with MJR5150 and his wonderful family, they took me to lunch and spent some time hanging out. I felt pretty bad that I took up this family's day but Mike (MJR) got to show me what his Magna Charged 300CSRT8 could do on the way back to his house, pure raw adrenaline!!!! Got back at to the shop at 7pm and it was just in time to do the final alignment with me in the car. Once the final alignment was nailed down, Andre says, ok, now we take the car out on the highway again, this time you drive.

He had the Snap-on Data Logger plugged into the OBD port and said: "Can you drive with this plugged in??" I was happy as a pig in ****! He was monitoring the car's behavior while I drove! Talk about meticulous and thorough! I may have paid a lot of money, but short of a day at Chrysler's Test Facility in Flint Michigan, this was the next thing! What an experience~! I got home at 10pm, wiped out!

    (to be continued)

I conduct my business like those car rental companies, we might be #2 so we'll try harder.

sounds like you're about ready to rip up the track. I'd be interested to know what your alignment specs are and compare them to how I have my car set up. I went with an aggressive street that gives me a little better corning without eating up the edge of the tires

Daniel, That's what I asked for and got this time. Perhaps not as aggressive as yours, but because of family obligations today, I wont finish this post until tomorrow at some time where I can scan in the pre- and post- alignment values.

awesome meech! i knew you were stock piling parts i spend a lot of time buying and selling myself so i am aware of my sorroundings. I to knew you were working on an autocross style setup with what you bought is very impressive you're in another league. I thought I could handle very well with my bwoodys and hotchkis sways. i cant wait to see how well you perform and see your feedback on the parts. Are you toying with the idea of those front and rear razors edge strut bars?
