LX Sidewall & Suspension Deflection Tests
Well LX folks!
In the midst of considering further tire and wheel combos for my Charger, I started to wonder how much Road Course driving moves a tire around, after noting in some of my track photos that my tires were rolled WAY over, even at 49 psi! Take a look here…

(I am yanking hard left here enough to make the rear wheel bead stick out further than the tire does - well what else happens back there?)
My buddy has a neat professional type camera suction cup mount and system. He was prepared to hold me harmless of any camera loss, provided I bought the beer afterwards – it seemed like a fair deal! We attached the camera to my left rear door and taped the wires down, stringing the associated wiring into the car.
The purpose was to see just WTH my current combo is up to back there, while I put my car through the various shenanigans I do. We did a couple burnouts, a few turns, and then captured the front wheel a bit too. For reference the wheel is an SRT 20x9” with a Nitto INVO 275/40-20 (the front is a 245/45-20 on same wheel).
Some will find it to be the biggest piece of useless rubbish to occupy video storage, but some of you that are as badly infected with “DisLXia” as I am may find it of great interest!

It is interesting to note that the Inside tire (of the corner being negotiated) does not distort much, but the Outside tire distorts considerably!

Neat video, the slalom one doesn't show alot as when it is under load the face is turned away. Cool viewing anyways.
Someone should try this with 18's or an old car with 14's
