    Lug nuts

Has anyone found a set of aftermarket lug nuts that actually have a decent seat on them? I bought a full Gorilla set and test fit one only to discover that almost the whole seat was visible.

I haven't actually bought mine yet, but awhile back I asked some questions here. The part number I came up with is 91147. Apparently what's needed is the 'acorn bulge' type of lug nut - which the 91147 is (not sure if the set you bought is that type). If you search here you should find good info. Here is one good thread:

    06 Magnum AWD Lug Nuts

The Gorilla site as I recall was a good resource too, because you can compare different characteristics (keeping in mind that you need one with 'acorn bulge').

Part no. I bought through Summit Racing was
    GOR-91944
    description: Gorilla Wheel Installation Kits
Lug Nuts, Conical Seat, Bulge, 14mm x 1.50 RH, Closed End, Standard/ Locking, Chrome Plated Steel, Set of 24
I pitched the locks & just used the standards all the way around ... buying the "kit" was cheaper than buying the set of 20 standard lugs.
They have worked fine for me.
