One of my RT lug nut covers came off. It appears to have been glued on. What glue do I use to put it back on securely?
Thanks

IMHO, you're best bet is to buy some real chrome (or black) lug nuts (gorilla, makes decent chrome nutz, but there are others)
God drives a Mopar: "And so God, in his Fury, drove Adam and Eve out of the Garden"
"
64 Ply Fury 440/727
49 Dodge Ram 413/727
03 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi
07 Plum Crazy Daytona Charger (#56 of 1400)
I bought these from Summit Racing:

They also carry chrome. Excellent service, delivered in 1 1/2 days, no shipping & they are cheaper than Gorilla.
Stock lug nuts are trash, get this kit: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...0&autoview=sku
Good call. I need some new nuts as well. A couple of caps on my mag fell off as well and my wife has my other set in a jar!!
BTW - Furyous - That quote about God driving a MOPAR is hilarious.
I remembered my car was still under warranty, so I went to the local Dodge Dealer to get a new lug nut. The Service Manager at first said, "Oh, the shop that rotated your tires must have used an impact wrench on them". Duh! Everybody uses an impact. Anyway, the short version is that they refused to give me a new one under warranty. So, when I got back home, I used a deep socket to drive it back on and that 's the way it is for right now. There was a blue rubber o-ring between the nut base and the cover!!! I definitely won't buy stock lug nuts if I replace them.
yeah there cheap garbage ..bad design!!!!!!!
Check with the guys at HHP. They sell Gorilla Nuts and have the best customer service around. I think you can get a set for just shy of $40.
replace them now before the steel nut under the cover starts to rust and swell. the gorilla's work great....
I lost 3 taking off my rims. I had to beat the socket onto all 5 of a rear tire. 3 came off the nut. It was as if they had swelled. Will worry about it when I swap the tires back in fall
