    Which lowering springs?

    Which lowering springs are going to be best for my sxt? Keep in mind that I am running 22x9 with 265/35/22 w/13mm offset. I want to be as low as possible w/o rubbing.

    I've heard pro kit is the way to go, others say sportlines are fine.

    Does anyone else use any other company such as h&r, sprint, tien, etc etc..

    Please help!

    I use to have the pro-kit and I have the same tire and rim size, looked good but I hit the fenders on large bumps, I bought sportline but never put them on I was afraid they would rub more. You can do it but fenders should get rolled, I gave up and got coilovers that are ajustable(ST). Some guys run eibach and say no problems but not me..

    That is what I am concerned about...I've read guys using sportlines w/22's and no problems, and others say they have issues w/the pro kit. I am totally confused on which to get. I don't wanna chew up the tires.

    I would go w/coilovers or air, but don't have the extra $$$ to spend on that just yet.

    I had the Eibach Pro-Kit on my SE. Never had any problems with rubbing, though I did have a smaller profile tire (255-35-22). Still, seemed like there was more than enough room for 265/35's.

    Word of advise...I had only the springs installed (with the stock shocks), and I had the right rear shock go bad about 2 weeks ago, after about 3 months/5000 miles. Then again, it's entirely possible that since the car already had 40K miles, the shock was going to go bad no matter what.

    Here are a couple of before and after shots, so you get an idea how much they drop. Took a couple of weeks for the springs to finally settle nicely (when I first got it done, it only dropped about 1").

    That looks really nice!!!

    I think the prokit sounds like the best way to go...I would like to go lower w/the sportlines, but if I need to buy the eibach dampners at $600 it isn't really cost effective and at that point I might as well go w/the kwv2s...

    What shock did you replace your right rear w/?

    Well, the funny thing is that I ended up trading the SE in for a new R/T the day before I was supposed to get the shocks replaced. But apparently my wheel/tire/suspension guy found that the only aftermarket shocks (besides the expensive Eibachs) are the new ones Monroe just put out - about $90 a piece (vs. the factory ones @ $150 each)

    But yeah...I'd go with the Pro-Kit. It'll lower the car to just about the right height (at least in my opinion) - low enough for a nice stance, but not so low that you're gonna be bottoming out or scrapping the underside of your car on every driveway or speedbump.

    Our springs will lower a RWD car about 1" all the way around, providing that you do not have the Nivomat rear shocks (tow package has them) They are 328 shipped.

    If you were going to use the Eibach Pro Kit, I suggest Goldline springs as an alternative. Just as good, same specs, much less expensive.

    If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?
