    Lowering an MSRT8?!?

I want to drop my MSRT8 a little lower.
What springs should I get? I don't want it to rub or anything, just sit a bit lower. Any suggestions? I tried to have it done today and the shop ordered the wrong springs. The ordered the ones for a regular magnum and it ended up sitting higher than when I brought it in when they were done. Needless to say they had to take them off and put the stock ones back on and eat the labor, but they did the ordering and I didn't want my car raised. So, I need actual brand and part numbers and I will order them myself and have them put on.
    Any help would be great.
    Thanks.

Will check on the brands and part #'s, but another questiopn...what are you doing with the springs you took off. The FACTORY srt Magnum springs? I am interested if they are reasonably priced.
    Thanks

If you want just a little drop I'd suggest Mopar lowering springs. They have an approx 1" drop. I've heard that they're made by Eibach even though they say Mopar. All the other springs out there (Eibach, H&R, Tein, etc) will drop it lower. If you've got Nivomats in the rear I don't think you can use springs alone to lower. Hope this helps.

Oh, PS.....I'm selling a set of Mopar lowering springs in the for sale section

Unless you replace the rear nivomats, the back end isnt going to lower with springs.

Okay, dumb question, but what are nivomats???
So, are the SRT's as low as they can get without some major work/ $$ ?

Nivomats are self-leveling shocks. Put in a shorter/weaker spring and the shock will still try to maintain its current length, keeping the car near stock height and wearing itself out pretty quickly. You can "downgrade" to other shocks and add lowering springs, but lowering these cars has proven to wear out stock shocks very prematurely. IMO, if you're going to do it, save up for a while and get springs/dampers at the same time. There are several vendors that do complete kits. Eibach offers just shocks that can be combined w/ any aftermarket spring (Eibach, Hotchkis, STS, Pedders, Goldline, etc.)
